Diane Klos, MS, PT, SCS, CSCS
Diane is a licensed Physical Therapist, Sports Physical Therapy Specialist, Strength and Conditioning Specialist and Certified Pilates instructor. Diane received her Bachelors degree in Physical Therapy from the University of Wisconsin- Madison in 1986 and her Masters degree in Human Performance from the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse in 1989.
Diane combines her education and her 30 years of experience as a physical therapist with her fitness and performance knowledge to provide her clients with a well rounded approach to movement and relief from pain. Diane has worked at Gundersen Sports Medicine Physical Therapy for 25 years and served as a clinical director, staff physical therapist, clinical educator and residency mentor. She has also been fortunate to share her knowledge as an associate professor with the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse physical therapy program. Her experience involves working with recreational, college and professional athletes, as well as working with the Olympic athletes at the 2002 winter games.
Diane shares a passion for quality patient-centered care. She has a special interest in empowering individuals to maintain or improve their current level of health. She specializes in Pilates based rehabilitation, acute and chronic neuromuscular injuries, relief of joint or muscle pain, arthritis, pre-post operative rehabilitation and performance enhancement.
Diane believes in a “hands-on” approach to restoring joint mobility and reducing pain by providing skills in manual therapy (joint and soft tissue mobilization, dry needling) with education, corrective exercise and functional training to maximize function and prevent a re-occurance of your problem. Diane utilizes a variety of rehabilitation equipment (Pilates reformers and chairs, bands, balls, foam rollers, weights, TRX, Corealign) and training methods to help you reach your goals.
